Photokina 2012 Report

Hello visitors,
today I went to Photokina in Cologne with Mach das L and it was just AMAZING! Although I only was there one day, I think, I made a saw everything important. I want to share my impressions with you; so in the next two weeks you get to know EVERYTHING! You´ll see 4(!) Shootings, new cameras, attractions and a small impression of cologne plus conclusion. I had the chance to try out a Hasselblad H4D and the Leica S, two middle format cameras. But most of time I worked with my D5100 and the SB700, changing between the 18-200mm and the Micro 40mm.Have fun with the report!
P.S.: Part I will be a huge suprise, that´s for sure: A shooting with special conditions ;)

Fotoshooting I: Tiger

The other day when I was just looking around at kenrockwell.com, I saw this unbelievable Photo. This is one of the best I´ve ever seen. Although I don´t think Ken Rockwell is a good photographer and he´s more a critic, this photo is amazing! It shows how useful and creative ultra-wide-angles are and what you can do with them. Unbelievable photo, I wish I´d taken it, but unfortunately I´m not good enough yet.

Photokina 2012

Like the most of you will know, the Photokina 2012 will occure in Cologne in less than one month, the world biggest photography fair. Huge announcements are expected, like the Nikon D7100 and the long-waited-for D600, the Canon 70D many other novelties. I definitely will be there, probably with Mach das L. Afterwards I´ll inform you about everything of course and you get to see my photos. Who got time between the 18th until the 23rd of september 2012, should be there! The fair happens at the Cologne-Deutz fair ground and it will be huge. Not just the big companies, some photographers will be there, too. Long story short, everybody has to be there! The tickets are not so expensive compared on what you get. Have fun!
